This section helps you install Matchmaker and get it running.

System Requirements

Matchmaker is a desktop application that runs locally on a computer meeting the following requirements:

Display 1600x1200 (20.1-inch display) 1920x1200 (24-inch free-standing display or larger; or laptop supporting this resolution)
Disk Space 500MB free prior to installation of Matchmaker and Java. Installing Matchmaker

To install Matchmaker:

1. Insert the installation CD or download the installer from the Silverstone Solutions website.

If you're installing from a CD, the installation wizard should appear. If it does not appear, run setup.exe from the CD's root directory.
If you're installing from a file, run the file by double-clicking it.

2. Accept the license agreement by clicking the I Agree button.

3. Click Install to accept the default installation directory (in your Programs Files folder) or click Browse to identify a different folder.

Matchmaker is now installed.

Starting Matchmaker

You can start Matchmaker using any of the techniques used to start Windows applications, such as the Start menu, an icon on the desktop, etc.

To start Matchmaker:

1. Click the Start menu and select Matchmaker from the Silverstone Solutions program group.
2. If it's the first time starting Matchmaker since installing it, fill out the registration form and click OK.

3. In the Login screen, type the User ID (user name) and password that you entered during registration and click Login.

In the next section, you will import a data file and update it which sets the stage for generating match lists.
